Switching to an Art Nouveau Theme for Email Tarot

Dear beloved readers,

This blog is an extension of the EmailTarot.com website that I am currently building. Here you will find my random musings, art inspiration, and thoughts on things that I am creating. I've decided to use an Art Nouveau theme for Email Tarot. It took a while to decide this was the direction I wanted to go in, but since switching over I love it.

You'll see that the talking tarot avatars, meditations, and overall art is all using the same theme and aesthetic. I've been creating "Card of the Day" videos on YouTube on the Email Tarot channel. Though I'm trying to create and share content on X, Facebook and Instagram, I'm not having the connection with viewers on those platforms that I'm having on YouTube. I will keep trying my hand at different types of content to see what works best.

I decided not to change the header on this blog to one of my favorite Art Nouveau themed women. This blog header was one of my first attempts at Canva and I like the way it came out so I will keep it. Since making this header I've discovered how amazing AI art prompts are for creating masterful pieces. I know ther are many debates going on about using AI art in tarot, especially since Pamela Colman Smith is renowned for her painstakingly hand-drawn illustrations of the Waite-Smith (Rider Waite-Smith, Rider was the publisher) tarot deck. Some feel that using AI to recreate tarot cards isn't as authentic as an artist drawing them.

I disagree with that purist mentality and absolutely love the freedom that AI allows tarot readers and tarot deck creators.

I'm using AI to create the Art Nouveau tarot cards that are used in the daily Card of the Day readings and will be on this site (along with various versions of each card as I create them).

Hopefully, the feminine version of these won't be off-putting to men, but my spirit just loves the way these look and I've decided I will use this format here on out.

I want to figure out a way to have the YouTube channel embedded on this blog in a way that each Card of the Day automatically feeds or updates here, but so far, I haven't found an easy way to do that. I can link it easily, but I'd like the video itself to actually show up here.

Well, that's all for now. I think I'll run some Google searches or ask Gemini or Chat GPT to help me find a way to have the YouTube videos on the blog.

Be blessed,

Charisse
